Instead of opting for posed and formal shots for the “getting ready” photos, Aundrea and Colin decided to capture their daily morning routine for the shoot. They also added a fun pillow fight to inject some drama and playfulness into the photos.
These small, intimate moments of a couple’s daily life are rarely captured by a camera, but they reveal who they are as a couple and the depth and individuality of their love.
I suggested the concept of running through the streets with jumbo red balloons, while they were wrapped in winter comforters. Initially, I was concerned that the idea might be too bold for a wedding day. However, upon presenting the concept to Aundrea, she enthusiastically responded, "Absolutely, a million yes!"
As twilight descended, Georgetown's streets transformed into a vibrant, almost otherworldly backdrop—bathed in deep blues and electric splashes of light. This setting created a perfect stage for Aundrea and Colin’s special day, enveloping them in a cinematic ambiance that echoed the visual splendor of Blade Runner 2049.
From our very first contact, Li made the process effortless and collaborative.
